How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, before I could not join an institution because I had no money to pay my tuition. Thanks to transfer I got from GiveDirectly which has enabled me to join an institute to undertake an Information Technology course. Now I'm sure my future is bright.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has brought a lot of change in our villages people have built permanent structures. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on paying fees for my course at UGX 1,330,000, renovating my house at UGX 200,000, clothing /household goods at UGX 52,000 and food (beans, rice) at UGX 50,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am now at school and my future is bright.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I became so happy. I thanked God for Give Directly because they have changed my life.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a cow at 430,000ugx, school requirements of 150,000ugx, I paid my tuition of 500,000ugx, am spending 250, 000ugx for buying food while at school and personal requirements. I have saved the balance of the money.

The happiest part of my day is, in the evenings, when I am socializing with my friends at the trading center.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my life is lack of enough money to pay my school fees. This has made me stay at home for a long time.
