How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My lifevis no longer the same since receiving money from Givedirectly because i have renovated my house and it is a decent home now rather than in the past when it was in bad shape and the roof was leaking during the rainy season
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
To my opinion i think Givedirectly's staff members are they show passion and they are helpful to us and that is a good gesture and i can not complain about any aspect of Givedirectly.

The recipient was so excited cause she had her doubts when GD first enrolled her

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This is an exciting moment in my life. When I heard that we are going to receive this cash, i felt relieved. It means alot in my life to receive this money. I have alot of problems in my family and this money shall definitely alleviate my poverty and will be used to develop myself. Iam looking forward to receiving this money from your organisation(GiveDirectly). Iam grateful to GD for this money. I say thank you!!
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happiest in the morning because I wake up very energetic and full of hope for a new beautiful day. However my happiness fades as the day progresses because I get worried of how Iam going to feed my family especially lunch and supper.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of money especially this time of convid-19. It has left my finances paralysed.
