How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
At my age, I can not do any manual labour. The cash transfers have brought so much joy and peace in my life. I am able to buy food and access medical services. I would have died of hunger had GiveDirectly not sent these cash transfers. I had no hope elsewhere.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send the vulnerable cash transfers. There is nothing bad that I have heard connected to GiveDirectly in anyway.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I am planning to spend the second cash transfer to purchase livestock and part of it to take care of myself.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing that my house no longer leaks and I sleep comfortably as compared to before where when it rained, I would get worried of sleeping on a wet bed.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy because I will be renovating my house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy iron sheets that I used to replace the leaking ones on my house. I then bought a cow at Ugx 600000 as my personal investment. I bought some household items such as bed, matress and food. I am saving some money Ugx 500000 that will help in case of emergency.
