How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have built a better house and own livestock. Previously, I couldn't afford to build and to buy livestock. With this cow, I can depend on it in the near future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly according to me, has done well by giving me the uncoditional cash transfer. On the other hand, there is nothing bad that this organisation has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to buy a cow and food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest differnce in my daily life is that, I have improved on my house that I stay in and constructed another for my children, so I feel happy because I have been sharing a house with my children which could bring moral decay.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
what a suprise I had in seeing the message indicating that I had received my first cash transfer from GiveDirectly. I thought it was an imagination but receiving it confirmed to me the commitment that GiveDirectly has in serving the poor.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my cash transfer worth UGX 1,700,000 for renovating my house, paying builders and building another semi permanent house for my children to sleep in.

Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house for my children.

The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of money to take care of the education needs of my children.
