How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The main change in my life is that, I live a comfortable life because I renovated my house and I have solar that provides light for my household especially at night. Prior to receiving this transfer, I used to stay in a dusty house that was not conducive enough.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through giving unconditional cash transfers that have helped poor people like me come out of debts, build houses and acquire basic items for households like food, medication and school fees.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for for building materials like sand, cement, aggregates, two windows, solar, feeding and paying for labour. I have saved part of the money for taking care of future desires, I gave a tithe and gifts to my relatives not forgetting my treatment. I now stay in a better house than the one I had before.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is happiness because I am able to change diet regularly unlike before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so happy to extent of leaving what I was doing to rush and withdraw it.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay my debt to which I used cultivation land as security, bought cow, a few household items like clothes, solar panel for providing light at night, and food.

Receiving this money means i will buy some cattle for rearing, renovate my family house and recover my rented out piece of land.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning after praying to my God.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is am being disturbed by ulcers and diabetes.
