How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a tremendous change in my life because I have managed to construct an Iron roofed house and now in the final stages of fixing doors and windows. I have peace of mind because I will no longer have to struggle looking for grass maintenance of a grass hut. I wouldn't have achieved this if I had not got the money from GiveDirectly. It would have taken me so many years to construct this house on my own because I don't have any source of income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well to give financial support directly to me. There is nothing they have done bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying 10 bags of cement, 20 iron sheets, 36 pieces of timber and nails. I used these materials for completing the house construction that I had started with the first transfer.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The greatest change in my daily life is that, I bought the required materials that will be used to construct an iron roofed house. Renovating my hut yearly is challenging because the thatch is now scarce since the wetlands have now been encroached on for rice planting. I have always moved a long distance to look for thatch which has often made me incur additional transport cost.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy because this money will enable me buy materials for construct an iron roofed house.
