How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
These cash transfers have enabled me acquire a plot of land that I intend to move my home. In addition, I have bought a mattress and clothes for my children. Before relieving these cash transfers, I didn't have hope to acquire a plot of land and my children slept on a mat.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well to give me cash transfers that I used to purchase a plot of land and household items. GiveDirectly has only done well for me.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase a plot of land that I intend to build home for my self and children. Furthermore, I bought household items(a mattress, clothes, utensils) and a piglet.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The greatest difference in my daily life is that I live a stress free life. This is because I met most of the necesities I lacked. In addition, the retail shop I opened generates for me income unlike in the past when I never had an income generating activity.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very excited when I received the transfer. My life had been a struggle without basic necesitie like households and food since I lacked money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer to rent an of acre land at Ugx 250000 and to buy groundnut seeds at Ugx 45000. In addition, I started a retail shop at Ugx 100000, bought a bed at Ugx 120000 and a phone of Ugx 70000. I also spent Ugx 82000 on feeding, loaned out Ugx 250000 to a friend, bought clothes and shoes worth Ugx 275000. I have saved Ugx 500000 which I intend to top up with part of the second transfer in order to start aboutique business.

Receiving this money will enable me also own my land. I will buy some piece of land for agriculture.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening because it finds whe I have finnished most work

The biggest hardship i faced in my life is lack of money to buy household items and some basic needs.
