Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now have hope of building my own house which will enable me save the money that I have been spending on rent.I am also happy to see may parents well provided for because they used their transfers to invest in income generating projects.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,I hope that I will be having my own house which will automatically earn me respect among my peers.Going for training will also put in a better position in terms of finding a job and earning more money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not received the transfer fro GD,I would not have these building plans that I do now,I would not even be thinking of going to college.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I wish to spare some of the next transfer that I will receive so that I can go for a short course on building and construction in order to be able to get better jobs and stop being a handy-man.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in life is lack of proper skills to bargain for better payments from casual labor services that I offer. I get little payments that cannot enable me support my siblings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I get paid for the casual labor and buy some basic needs like food and clothes.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on paying fees for vocational training. I dropped out of school due to lack of money and therefore lack skills to secure better jobs.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is completion of primary school education. I am able to read and write without asking for any assistance.
