How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
With the expansion of my main house and constructing a separate house for my male grandchildren to sleep, I am so relieved that they do not have to squeeze in a small space. I also bought layer chickens with part of my first transfers which have now started laying eggs that I can sell for an extra income or even use for family consumption. This has generally improved our daily feeding habits as we can get money to buy our daily needs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My main aim was to enlarge my house and construct a separate kitchen and a sleeping area for my grandchildren which I already did. I am contented with that, but if I can manage to raise extra resources, then I would love to plaster the houses for durability and presentability. This, however, may not be easy due to my low income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
When I received these transfers, I decided to construct a new kitchen and enlarge the main house which was very tiny and could not comfortably contain my large family. I have five grandchildren who all had to sleep in the living area because there was no extra room for them so sleep, but now, the boys can sleep in the new kitchen while the girls sleep in the extra bedroom in the main house. I feel much more at ease because my grandchildren now have privacy and I do not have to wake them up very early even during the weekends to clear the room in case any visitor arrives.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With what I am currently earning from the sales of the eggs that are produced by the layer chicken I bought using my first transfer, My desire is to improve the project by adding more chickens and constructing a chicken pen where they can be confided and turn it into a huge project that will be able to produce enough eggs to supply to the entire village.
