Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because through this cash aid, I managed to buy oxen for ploughing my farm land. Previousely, I hired from other community members but later on after the owners have finished to plough their farms.Secondly, my child was also able to access better treatment from private clinic.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received money, I felt very happy because before I never had hopes of benefiting from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought oxen worth UGX 1260,000, rented farm land worth UGX 100,000, paid labour worth UGX 150,000, paid medical bills worth UGX 30,000. The recipient could not estimate how much spent on food. There is a balance of UGX 30,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will buy cows that are going to produce and eventually sell them and buy land. Part of the money will be used for dowry.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is during lunch time. It's the time that we all gather as a family and have a meal.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is sickness. I am sickly and there is no money for treatment.
