What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I constructed a semi-permanent house of 34 iron sheets. My former house was too tiny to offer us comfort that we needed. I was really worried since it was leaky due to old iron sheets and due to its tiny nature-I lacked privacy.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because I have moved from a smaller house to a bigger one. When I lived in the tiny house, people treated me with disdain. They actually jeered me but now this is no longer the case since I am at the same level with the them-we all live in big houses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is sending this money directly to the recipients but what it never did when was not enlightening majority of us how to spend the money.
