What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on construction of a latrine for my home and working on the inside walls and floor of my house. I also stocked food for my family to cater for the famine caused by the long dry spell.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in a way that I now have a personal latrine and this has improved sanitation in my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to enroll vulnerable households on merit. This makes the programme perfect.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to spend my transfer on renovating my house because the right side of it has a crack, buy a bicycle for easy transportation to the hospital and also buy a cow so as to drink some milk tea everyday.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is building a bigger house from a smaller one.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is loosing two children one after the other and i had a lot of hope in them because they had finished studies. One had two degrees ans the one had got married to a rich man with two cars.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the evening seeing my children and grandchildren having something to eat at the end of the day.
