How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If i had never received the transfer life would have been very pathetic. My house has been grass thatched and had no sustainable way of raising funds to build another one, each year i had to fetch grass for the roof, something which was tiresome, now life has changed because i am going to own a good house with iron sheet roof
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does very well on its inclusiveness especially with registering recipients. People of all gender and different economic status were able to be registered, that was good. I did not find anything lacking with the organisations operations
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on building a new house and saved part of the transfer for other uses in the near future

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to be considered for this program. Receiving this money means a lot to me because i will use the money to reduce poverty in my house hold. I will buy the things that I need such as iron sheets for my house and food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest when I have money and I will be very happy when I receive the funds from GiveDirectly so that I will be able to buy food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardships that I face is lack of money and lack of food. As of now I only have one bag of maize and I am worried that if this bag finishes I will not have food.
