Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
the moment i received my money i was very excited, as i knew that i will be able to buy enough food and renovate my house
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i used to do piece works in peoples farms in order to find food for my family. My family could sleep on an empty stomach just because i could not find anything to eat for that day. when i received my transfer i bought enough food for my family and we are now having enough food every day. i have also stopped doing piece works and am concentrating on my own farm works hopefully this year i will have enough harvests since i have applied fertilizer and i have enough time to take care of my fields.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received the transfer, i used part of the money to buy materials for renovating my house, my house was in a very bad condition and it was not safe to stay in it especially during rainy season. the remaining amount was used to buy food as i used to do piece work in peoples farms just to get food for the day. i also bought fertilizer, beddings and other basic needs.
