Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I feel very proud because I sleep in a plastered house with stron doors. Previously, my house was inhabitable. It had insecure doors and windows. I am very happy that GiveDirectly came to my aid.

I received the message early morning. I felt very happy that morning because I had pressing issues.

I spent the first cash transfer to purchase doors worth UGX180000 and doors worth UGX160000 and cement worth UGX280000 ,sand worth UGX210000. I paid a debt worth UGX300000. I also bought clothes and food with the balance.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to complete construction of my house through plastering and flooring. That will reduce the chances of diseases like glue and cough as a result of dust. My house is not yet complete because I embarked on studies and completed last year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have completed by daily struggles. I dear down with my wife as we discuss family affairs, that is my source of joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is lack of an employment opportunity. I am disabled and I hold a degree in barchalor of commerce but ever since I completed my studies, I m at home with my spouse and providing for household needs is a big challenge.
