How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since the cash transfer was given us, our new goal is to build a house with zinc roof for our household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done so much that I just can't stop Praising God for them. I have not seen any wrong that they have done.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the recent cash transfer, we bought eight bags of cement, paid part of our children tuitions, bought one bundle of zinc, and also bought food for our household. Thanks GD for your assistance given us.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in chruch on a Tuesday moring when I received an alert on my mobile phone and it when I checked it was a mobile money message with fourty thousand, three hundred and seventy five Liberian Dollars. I hurriedly ran to my pastor to disclose the good news. We were all happy and started praising God. I was so over joy and became to cry. I never expected such a blessing. My pray time changed immediately to thanks giving time.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Things were not very good for me and the family. My husband was in sick bush and no one was there to help me. As a business woman, I had sell anything that came my way just to provide for my family. This went to a point that my friends commonly call me by the name "Market Be Market". Many days when I am not selling, I could take contracts to weed grass from my friends farms. I had no means of suvival. My husband was ill and couldn't afford to cater for us. Now I am so happy for a new beginining with Givedirectly. Things are getting better. I wish to sing a song for Givedirectly., in fact I call Givedirectly " Next To God". No family was able to help me but God send Givedirectly to my rescue. My satuation is changing. My husband is back on his feet as man and my family is now tbinking about doing big things that we never imagine doing.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I would like to build purchase a lot of land in the city, build a house there and relocate my family. For too long we have been livimg in the village. My children school business is also on my mind. I wamt them to be able to attend better school in the city.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to recondition my house.Although I make small business to cater for my family but the money I earn from the small business is what I spend on food and school fees. The structure that I live in is a thatch structure when the rain starts to fall it damage some of my belongings.I want to buy zinc and roof my house with it but there's no money
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy or happiness is when a woman I Know from nowhere asked me to harvest three bunches of rice form her farm for myself free in the month of August of this year. I was happy and started thinking God for what she did for me because, I didn't had money to buy rice so the fact that someone that I know for noway asked me to harvest three bunches of rice that cost 1500.00 Liberian Dollars brought so much joy to me
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing now is the lack of money to recondition my house. My house is damaged and I have been living in this damaged structure for the past ten years. And I'm very uncomfortable with this kind of condition I'm in and this gives me the feeling of shame.Although I make small business but the profit I earn from the small business is not enough to buy zinc to recondition my house.I really appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood.
