What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to buy four bulls at USD270 each make a total of USD1081 which will be kept for some time and sell off in order to raise more money for buying land a flat safe place and build a house a good house for my family to resettle and get relieved of stress.
I also plan to pay school fees worth USD540 for my children who are studying in Kampala so that they can settle down, read books and perform well.
Then the balance of USD270 will be used to start up a small business of selling sweet bananas and clothes so that I can raise daily income to cater for basic needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I felt very happy when we shared our savings in a saving ground and I was able to meet sons basic needs. Another thing that made me happy is not experiencing heavy rainfall and I didn't hear of people dieing of landslides and flash floods.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I currently face the challenge of poverty which has failed us to take children to good schools and as a result they study in schools with poor standards where they also attend irregularly hence performing poorly in class.
I am also disturbed by water which comes from under ground when it rains. We really suffer because we lack where to sleep when water enters the house.
