What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renovating my house. I bought furniture. I bought bedding , bought food and paid school fee for my child.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I feel I have moved a great step a head. The type of furniture I have I never imagined I would own it in my life. I feel like a human being and people respects me in the village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving cash directly to recipients without going through administrative. This enabled the recipients to get full amount of money without any deductions.

I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to construct a two roomed house. My previous house was constructed in a swampy area and this was risky as it could collapse anytime. I also paid school fees for my daughter in secondary school and I am happy now she is in school and able to attend to all the lessons.
