How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different that, I now have Livestock which will help me plough my gardens when the season for farming start. Before I would first work for someone in order to get the oxen. I would not have been in position to get my Livestock if I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well is that GD has given people to be developmental in their families and they happily settled. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have not yet spent my second transfer, but I'm planning to spent it on constructing my permanent structure.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, life is less stressing since most of the problems are sorted out.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first cash transfer, it was the first day I had joy in my life since since most if my problems as been solved.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer for buying eighteen iron sheets at UGX 470,000. I have spent UGX 320,000 for making bricks. I bought food worth UGX 50,000. I bought beddings worth UGX 200,000. I bought firewood worth UGX 292,000. I have a balance of UGX 418,000 which I intend to use for building my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to build an iron roofed house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children are healthy and they are playing.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is poverty. I can not even afford to build a better house for my family and I. As such, the house that I am currently sleeping in is really in a bad state.
