Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very good, receiving such amount when I did not do any joy it is a great joy. I knew many will change at my household and we will get better with the money. I rushed to withdraw the next day and I didn't sleep that night because I could not wait for the sun to rise.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I have always wanted to go South Africa to work but did not have money for passport. Now I have a passport, after next transfer I will be able to travel to South Africa to work so that I will be able to help out my family here in Malawi. This way I see my family have the needs we lacked over the years.
