How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers empowered me to restock my restaurant. I was able to relocate my business and I am happy that its making profits. Furthermore, I reclaimed a piece of land after repayment of a loan that I had acquired to clear my medical bills. In the past, my bussiness was struggling and I could hardly clear my bills. This caused a rift between me and my land lord and I had to shift.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send people cash transfers that have helped the community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to hire a piece of land and part of the cash transfer was spent on purchasing utensils and chairs. The balance I intend to pay my child's school fees and part of it to invest in agriculture.
