How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to extend my little house to a bigger size, I have been living in a tach house with my younger sister for some years now, each time rain falls, our house gets wet because of the leakages from the tach roof, that is why I want to build a more decent and comfortable house for us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally without any strings attached, they are also kind and respectful to us, I don't know what the organization is not doing well in my town.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy planks and some building materials for my house project, I also bought foodstuffs for my family and I saved the balance for the workers that are building my house as payment.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am from a very large family. Due to the size of my family, I have been been founding it very difficult becacuse of sleeping place. I have been sleeping in a very tight little room because of my financial strength. Therefore, due to such reason, when I receive my transfer from Givedirectly, I was very happy because I planned to build myself a decent house house that will accommodate my family and I. The previous house that I am staying in is very small and it is not comfortable for me and my family. Through this transfer from Givedirectly, I will be able to have a better house for me and my family's comfort in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I have not been able to see anything that is not done well by GiveDirectly since it's existence in my village. GiveDirectly have done very much well by visiting and reaching out to every deserving households in the town and determining their eligibility during the enrolment process. In my my opinion, I believe that it shows a fair process and because of that, there is nothing that is not done well by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My living place condition have made me to be ashame of myself through out the passed years. Moreover, my inability to help myself from such condition have caused me to be in such poverty life. Therefore, through my first transfer from GiveDirectly, I was able to pay for my brother and sister tuitions to make them have better education for a better future. When I receive my second transfer from Givedirectly, I also used it to buy two bundles of zinc to zinc my house that I have planned to build. The remaining portion of it I used it to buy gas for the sawing of the planks for the roofing of my house. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly because with this transfer, I will be able to stay in my own comfortable house that will accommodate my family and I in the future.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I get this money I want to go back to school because I am a high school drop out and also enroll my little sister back to school because we don't have any one to depend on I'm the only one she have. I will also buy zinc for my house because it's leaking right now and the rainy season is getting closer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing have brought happiness to me for the past months since I lost my parents. Hearing of Givedirectly in my community my heart leaps with joy for once after a year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge is finding someone to help us because we are orphan and don't have anyone to look up to. Going to school and helping my sister are my biggest challenge right now.
