What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchase of 4 goats at 80,000ugx each, i got land on mortgage at 1,200,000ugx. I used the balance for buying a bed and food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give us money that has changed our lives. Give Directly did not do well to say let the people who do not know how to use phones have trustees because some trustees cheated the actual recipients.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received the money because i live at peace with wife and we are happy unlike before when we used to quarrel because i was not meeting her needs.

My first transfer was spent to buy a piece of land, a mattress, bed sheets, curtains, and a sack of dried maize.

The moment i recieved my money, i felt so happy and thanked God for bringing givedirectly to our village.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is i now have a piece of land and other house hold items which i never imagined to own one time.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of money. I sleep in a leaking house just because i don't have money to put up a better one.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my wife and child have eaten and are healthy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying land, livestock and other household items.
