How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that I own source of land for agriculture and I can now cultivated my crops on time un like before where I just used to rent agarden from someone else.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has elevated me from poverty by supporting me financially and there is nothing wrong GD has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a second hand a motorcycle which costed me 1,500,000ugx and I also used 100,000ugx for paying aloan.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a cow worth 530,000 ugx and four chickens worth 35,000 ugx. I also bought household items like mattress, and beddings all at 288,000 ugx. I also bought a solar panel at 120,000 ugx. The balance of the cash transfer I am planning to buy a plot of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received that money I became so happy that I even failed to sleep. I was awake till morning.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I nolonger have worries and financial constraints because I have money that I use sparingly. Where as in the past I could not afford some basic needs because I did not have any money.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is famine. Many times I have tried to cultivate but water consumes the plants. No yields can be harvested.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the noon time when i am with other members of the family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to buy oxen for ploughing, household items.
