How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I live a much more peaceful and happy life because I have more land to cultivate. In the past, I didn't have enough farm land to plant my crops hence my family often times suffered from hunger. In addition, I succesfully married a wife something I had failed to do previosuly due to lack of enough money to pay bride price.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the money that enabled me to marry and secure more land for agriculture. There is completely nothing bad that GiveDirectly has done in my assessment.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to rent two acres of land at Ugx 200000, bought house hold goods like bed, mattress, clothes at Ugx 212000 and spent Ugx 100000 on medical. The balance of the transfer was spent on groundnut seeds, a hoofer(Radio) and food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
There is a lot of happiness unlike before, I used to stay at home whole day because I didn't have money. I'm more so happy that I have a spouse in the house, Even if I'm out there I know I have someone at home taking care.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when the money entered my phone because I realized that my problems were going to be solved like marrying my wife and hire farmland. I used to wonder a lot on how I will do farming but God finally answered my prayers through Give Directly.

Receiving this money means to buy cows. These cows I will use as dowry for getting a woman.

The happiest part of the day is evening hours while chatting with my parents on how to make descent living.

The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for buying cows. I feel like getting a partner but I find it diffult due to lack of cows.
