What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with the transfer is to improve the lives of my family. I graduated as a Registered Nurse but what I am doing now is to sell medicines in remote villages. I normally walk long distances to get to remote villages just to get buyers for my drugs but most of the times, they either don't buy as expected or don't buy at all. Presently, I want to end the construction of my drug store to render medical services to citizens of my community and the district. So when I receive this money, I will use it to complete the construction of the drug store that I have started and get it running fully.
My spouse was doing a business before but it broke down because the money was always used for our children's school fees and other pressing needs. Because of this, the market broke down. So when I receive this money, I will start dry goods business for my spouse. That will be another way to help the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, though things are not always fine but my family is still together. I go to church, together with my family to hear the word of God. This really makes me happy.
Lastly, what brought me joy was when the health condition of my mother was improved. My mother was not well for some time but now her condition has improved and she is on special medication.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
With my level of education an a Registered Nurse, I am still struggling to find ends meet for my family. I struggle hard to eat and also feed my family. For that reason, I sell tablets to raise money to feed my family. I walk far distances to remote villages in search of customers but most of the times, I am disappointed and frustrated because they will not buy the tablets but rather beg for the tablets.
