What does receiving this money mean to you?
I was born in Jarlaken;I got married and move here to settle with my husband, I came to this town since 1994 and settle here with my family. Living here has been a great challenge for me.The farm work is a very difficult task to do as a female, but I have to inorder to keep my family going. I am tired of the farming work and want to sell, because of my age and the strength in me is gradually declining. Even though it is from the farm we get food, but I want to really do business. Farming work don't give me enough cash to safe; so it can't do what I want to do. Another thing is that I want to complete my house that is under construction and move from in this old house. I live in this house and have given birth to all of my children; I think it's about time that I built a good house for them. These are the two most important things I have on mind that I want to do with this money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Living in a house for about 15years or more; and an (NGO )coming to tell me that Give Directly Will transfer money free of charge that is just the most happiest news. I feel happy because my worries are all over. My business is sure and the completion of my house is done. Other NGO come here but not with this kind of help. At times they even lie and do pick and choose, but your program is direct direct that is the happiest part of it. Thanks be to God for Give Directly.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I am faced with is the Education of our children. I say this to say that every thing I have ever worked for is been placed on their education. I do farming every year and harvest, but I sell most of the products to enable me get money for their school fees.I am not educated; so I want to see my children educated, for this reason all the money goes on them. At the end, nothing much is left for saving to under take any project. "No money no job is done ". I am hoping that this be a reality so I can complete my house; established the business and the profits now will keep the children in school and settle other needs. Then living in a old house will all be over for me and my family.
