What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 27000 Kes of my second transfer on paying school fees, boosted my second hand clothes business with 13000 Kes and spent the rest of the money on buying my children clothes and food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my children now studies peacefully without being sent home for school fees and this will enable them have a brighter future.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent part of my first transfer to buy household items such as soap, sugar, milk and cooking oil. I then bought school uniforms and text books for my children in primary school school. I then paid school levies for them and the rest was spent on buying maize.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy the moment I received the money from GiveDirectly and knew that my children will not go school with torn uniforms again.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have a small business that we are operating and I would like to expand it.I will also use part of the transfer to renovate my house.Its not yet complete and I'd wish finish building it up.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is building a house and having my own home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge I currently have is getting school fees for my children and also to the orphans whom take care of.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest time of the day is during the day when doing my business.Its the work that fends for my family and that is why I love being there.
