What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to pay school fee arrears for my child who is in secondary school. I also spent the transfer to improve my business which was not doing well because of lack of capital. The remaining balance l spent to buy for my children clothes and food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my business has really improve and l am getting enough profit for my daily use compare to when l could spent little on business and get less profit.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my first transfer on paying school fees for my two nephews who are orphans in high school 6,000 KES and my two children 2,000 KES respectively. I also bought one bag of maize for my family's consumption 1,800 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I felt very happy since I was assured of seeing my children and my nephew who are orphans through their education and I am appreciative to GiveDirectly for making my dreams come true.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend this transfer to expand my business.I have a small business that helps my family with food provision.I believe its only involving myself in business that I can fend for my family that is so big. If part of the family remains,I plan to build a toilet.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Starting a small business is an achievement I'm proud of.I started this business with just 2000 shillings with the aim of fending for my family. However it is small,it helps us meet some of their needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest difficulty I face is lack of proper source of income.I stay with a number of orphans and getting their school fees and other needs is a challenge.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is during the day when eating lunch with my children. I feel happy when have managed to get what we can eat other.
