How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goals I said I wanted to build a house is what am completing.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I was not able to build a house for myself but through givedirectly, I will own a house. I thank God for this organisation coming to our community.
Givedirectly has not done any bad in our community, I wish I had the power to ask them to stay with us.

I chainsaw 150 pieces of planks and three bundles of zinc for the house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No new goals yet, I'm still sticking to building my a new house, and the construction is in progress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Majority of us don't have finances to build our houses, pay our children's tuitions but with the help of this program, all is going well and we are grateful for everything. Givedirectly did well.
Nothing wrong has been said or done about Givedirectly.

I planned on buying three bundles of zinc, the change remaining will be use for sawing planks. Based on the amount that will remain from the money will determine the amount of planks.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was cooking in my kitchen when I saw this massage on my phone saying I have received money from GiveDirectly, I was happy and I being to tell God thank you for GiveDirectly, because nobody has done this for me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving money from GiveDirectly, my life is much better, right now I am able to pay my daughter school fees, buy food for my family and I, and im also able to buy building materials to start my building project. But before things wasn't easy with my family and I.

When I withdraw my money from my mobile account I bought one build of zinc, one packs of nail to start my building project, one half bag of rice to feed my family and I, then I used my balance money for my daughter school .

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Right now i don't have a house. My family and i are always moving from one place to another in search of a sleeping place. Due to lack of finance i had to dropped from school to cater to my family problems. When i receive this help from Give Directly , my first priority is building a decent house for my family. Whatever amount i am left with, after completing my house project will be used to establish a little business. The proceeds from the business will be use to settle my children's school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought happiness to us in the last six months is the reduction in tuition for our children. The Government reduced the tuition for elementary to junior high schools. As parents who can't afford to pay their children's school fees, it really brought joy and happiness to us. The reduction in tuition will help us to save little money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges iam facing currently is finance. I had a plan to build a house and establish a business but due to lack of finance, i am unable to build a house or establish a business. Whenever i do a little contact, the money goes towards food abd children school fees. When we make a rice farm, it yields poorly. The proceeds from the farm cannot carry us to the next harvest season.
