How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
We are hoping to build a better house for ourselves here in the village because we are presently living in a thatched house. Buying a piece of land for my kids in Monrovia will be a greater accomplishment for us this year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing extremely well for us. We can not even pay them for their good dees.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have planned to use my money and buy land for my kids in Monrovia. My kids are in Monrovia attending school and renting at the same time. So i am saving this money so that i can add it to the next transfer and buy a piece of land for them. In that case, we will be able to build a portable house where they can stay and we will not have to pay rent again.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am hoping that before the end of this year, my family and i will be living in a decent house with zinc where raining season will no longer be a problem for us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is doing extremely well for us by providing us with unconventional cash to settle many of our problems. Taking me from thatched house is one of my greatest achievements.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I gave 53.00 USD to my daughter for her school who is in the 8th grade class and staying with her uncle in Monrovia. Because my parents sent me to school but i refused to go. At that time, i didn't know the importance of education. Seeing my daughter who is 16 years and very serious in school, i have decided to do everything possible for her to be educated and not to end up like me, uneducated and a farmer. Because i always regret the decision that i made in the past which can't be corrected by me but only my kids. The balance money i used it to buy 2 bondles of zinc for 187.00USD. Because we are presently living in a thatched house. My husband and I have never been able to purchase zinc and build a better house. But with this opportunity of receiving unconventional cash from Give Directly, we have started building a 4 bed rooms zinc house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am already in the field of small business, if I am selected to benefit from this cash transfer, I am glad and going to invest in to the meat selling I am involved with. Secondly I will invest in my kids education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months, my daughter got her promotion to the 8th grade and that brought us a lot more joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Now there is no customer to buy our goods and that's a major challenge for now. We are unable to sell our goods on time due to the lack of money.
