What did you spend your first transfer on?
I purchased a solar pannel for my children to read with, paid tuition for three of my children built a grass thatched house and purchased food to improve on our diet.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was shocking news to me and gave me heart attack because it was some thing I had longed to get. I have blood pressure which upon receiving those news, have me that attack.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My children had been chased from school but after getting my first transfer, I am able to pay for my children's education and I want to thank Give Directly for the support given.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My childs' sickness is my biggest hardship. My son has sickle cells and treating him is very expensive.I normally visit the hospital twice in a month because of my son's medical condition.This is challenging in terms of money for paying his medical, food and transport bills
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is the time when my neighours come to my house and share prayers with me.This brings happiness to my life
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying a solar panel for my household.I need light for my children to use for reading their books during holidays when they return from school.I intend to use part of this money to also complete building my pit latrine.
