How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Firstly I want to thanks to givedirectly for their support to was my family and me. I am so happy that I was enrolled on givedirectly program. I am a farmer, poor me I haven't received such huge money for free without paying back. Before then life has been so hard on my family, the house we are living in has leakage all over the roof, due to that my children some time get sick from cold. I am Planning of building new house in my village.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. Givedirectly has changed my entire life that I am proud of today. I have my owned house niw in my village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to buy four bundles of zinc, food, paid the workmanship for the project

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. My new goal is to improved my leaking thatched roof with iron sheets roof. May plan was to build my own house in my village, Because the transfer is very huge so I have decided to change my leaking thatched roof with iron sheets.

In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of our village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled our entire village. Because of givedirectly our children are all healthy and in school. Givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses. I so grateful to Givedirectly. Givedirectly has done very well in my village
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw my money I was able to buy three bundle of zinc to change my leaking thatched roof. I also bought one beg of rice that cost 3,500 LD. I paid the workmanship to start my roofing process.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the transfer because i always wished to take off the thatched from over my house and replace with zinc.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Improving my house from thatch to zinc has always been my dream but i couldn't afford the cost. During the raining seasons there has always been rain leaking in the house. So when I got the first transfer, i immediately went and bought zinc to change my roof of my house.

When i received the cash, i immediately went and bought zinc for my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a old man who don't have the strength to do any physical job therefore, upon receiving this grant I will use eighty percent(80%) of the money on building a comfortable dwelling place because the house I am sleeping in currently is leaking badly. The remaining portion of the money will be use on food because I don't have the strength to make farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought happiness to me was that I was sick and admitted and currently I recover from it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently, the main challenge I am facing is how to feed my self including my wife, because now my children are the one making the farm and giving us food.
