How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now better because we can now rebuild pur home. We were previously staying in the bushes

In my opinion, GiveDirectly helps people alot and tjey are helping people build their lives. However there are alot of people who complain about being included in the program and others were merely left out because they stay in the same compound

I went to collect the money yesterday because I was not feeling well but I plan on using this money pn purchasing iron roofs and building another house. I had previously bought bags of cement and other building materials so I can build.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
the moment i received my transfer i was very excited as i knew that i will be able to buy enough food for my family

i used to do piece works in order to find food for my family. we could usually skip meals because we wanted to save the little food we had. when i received my transfer i bought enough food for my family and we are eating everyday without skipping meals. i have also stopped doing piece works and am concentrating on my own activities.

When i received my transfer i bought food because i did not have food at home and i used to do piece works in order to find food. secondly i bought iron sheets as am planning to build a new house with the second transfer. the remaining amount was used to buy mattress and other basic needs.
