How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: We are farmers, we have been living on our farm produce we harvest and sell everytime, which is absolutely nothing. I have always had a desire to build a house, a house that will be more comfortable and decent.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly have done amazingly great for some of us and we can not thank them enough, but only pray that God blesses them on our behave. Givedirectly is doing everything good.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I am using the most of my transfer on purchasing funitures like: mistress, chairs among others. I will also use the balance to pay the builders who are constructing my house after they are done. All this seems impossible before the coming of givedirectly.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't having new goals before receiving this transfer; I'm still sticking to my previous plan, which is to build my own house; with this money i can build a good house for i and my family's and do others things like; paying of children school fees and established small business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly is a unique NGO that give direct unconditional cash transfer to people, with that help ; GD is doing well for me and others people . On the other hand i will say nothing for now because ; there is nothing to see that GD does that is bad, all is well from my end.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I already paid people to cut enough stake for the construction of my house and purchasing of zinc is in progress; i was able to get some food provision for the house .

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited that morning when I received an sms alert tell me that I have getting money from GD, that identical day was like holiday to us; I and my children didn't go any where that day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that; my life is changing on a daily basis and i can see it for myself; things that i was unable to afford i can now afford it.

I spent my transfer on my own house and established new business ;and pay my children school fees ; right now I'm sawing plank in the bush so i can build my new house

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive the transfer I want to build my house and buy mattress to be sleeping on. Also to keep so for my feelings and medication. I want to build my house because the house my late husband left before he died has spoiled and I'm sleeping with my son and his wife, so I need my own place for my children to come to me for visit when want.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm happy and thankful to God for life he still give me. I am happy to see my children and I still living because since my husband died only God been carrying us through for survival.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenges are first to build my house and make my farm. As soon as I get zinc for my house I will pay people to make farm I want reduce the hunger in my family, I really thinking about it and it giving me heart problem now.
