How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for affording me the opportunity to be one of their beneficiaries of this financial assistance. Since I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, my only goal had been to built my own house. For this reason, I have not developed any new goal until I accomplish my goal. As a single mother, I have been squatting in a friend's house with my two kids and the living condition had not been favourable due to limited space. On that note, from the day I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I started buying building materials for the construction. However with my recent transfer I used the amount of ten thousand dollars and bought the remaining round poles. Moreover, I used some of the money and bought twenty five packs of nail. The remaining money will be spend on paying the contractors.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I am so much grateful to GiveDirectly for this life changing opportunity. They have brought so much relieved and breakthrough in our individual lives. Things we struggled for years and couldn't achieved, we are now gradually achieving them. All thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for this great financial freedom. They have done extremely well for us that we cannot comprehend. Truly speaking, GiveDirectly has not done anything that is not well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes.I have been renting in my own home town for a very long time. GiveDirectly transfer made me to know that I can own a house for myself. I was mocked and made shame in my town because I couldn't afford to build a house at my age. I decided to build my house as soon as I got my first transfer from GiveDirectly. Therefore,I'm going to use my transfer to build my house and print GiveDirectly on it as an appreciation to them.
