Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home when I received the transfer, I was so happy and immediately thanked God for bringing Give directly and for fulfilling their promise. I then thought of buying a cow, a mattress since I was sleeping badly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now have joy in my life, I have never expected to receive such help in my life. God is good.

I bought a cow, onions for farming, a mattress and saved some.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I will use the cash transfer sparingly.I hope to buy a goat and a cow so as i can get some milk as a source of income.

As a born again,i thank God that i am alive and even when i am lame,i can work.I am grateful for life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am caught up in poverty.I am taking care of sick and vulnerable people.I am also lame.I have to do casual labour to help out with the family and to cater for all needs.
