What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
This money means alot to me because out of it i will be able to buy a piece of land in a safe place at the cost of USD1,486 and on this land I will construct a house and relocate with my family because where am currently staying is prone to disasters line landslide and flash floods. I will also be able to buy 1 cow for milk at the cost of USD 387. This will help improve on the standards of living of my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy is when my grand daughter performed well in class, she was number 3, also all my family members have not fallen sick in the last 6 months apart from my husband who has some pains in the leg. I also felt happy when I had about givedirectly giving us unconditional cash transfer for us to decide on what to do with it.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challanges that am currently facing is poverty and hunger due to lack of income generating activities, also too much rains that has led to flash floods which has destroyed our gardens hence causing hunger.
