How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan is to first of all to build a new house for my family where we will be comfortable instead of jaming ourselves into a house and be uncomfortable
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirect make me to be some one in the family and I am so thankful for me to be able to make a quick improvement in my life through the assistance that I am getting.

Building materials for the new house, paid school fees for my children and do some painting on the old building that I am currently living in now

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I was excited and grateful to God for bringing Give Directly people in our village.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Farming was my source of income, we always had plans to open a small business one day but we never had money to get it started but since Give Directly came my dreams has come true. Since I received my transfer my life has improved. My wife and I doing well in our small business with the improvements in our business we can now live a better life

I spent my most recent transfer on my wife's business. Some of the money we saved it for our children school fees and emergency.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I'm currently involved with farming activities so if I'm successful for Give Directly Cash transfer program, I want to use some of the money to improve my farm and also raise cattle because that will help me to get more money for myself and my family. After improving my farm, if the money is plenty to do other things, I will want to build a decent house for my family"
What is the happiest part of your day?
" When I started planting my crops on the farm beginning March of this year, I have been a happy person because they are growing up very well. Another thing that brought me happiness was the improvement in my son's education because he got promoted to the next class after completing last year's school activities".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The main challenge for my family has been the lack of money , because I feel once I get money, I will be able to handle other problems that may come my way".
