How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal was to build a very decent guest house so that when strangers come to my village they will have somewhere to sleep .I already have my entertainment center running.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give-directly do well by making my dream come to pass.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been trying to raise enough money to build my house and also buy a bigger mattress for my family. However, things have been very difficult due to low income. Meanwhile, with GiveDirectly financial support, things seems to be working out perfectly. I feel so relieved at the moment because I am partially able to accomplish my goals.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own point of view, GiveDirectly has been honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. For me to have received such amount of money as goodwill is incredible. I feel so blessed to be part of this program. Thus far, I see nothing that GD is not doing quite well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I received my recent transfer, I bought 2 more bundles of zinc ($21,000LD) to roof my house. Portion of my transfer was also used to purchase a very big mattress for my family and I to relax comfortably at night. Meanwhile, the remaining portion of my transfer was used as transportation. I am grateful to GiveDirectly for impacting my life positively.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I am a mother of three children that attend school in monrovia. The only means to support them is this mini business I am doing. Therefore when I successfully receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use the money to continue supporting my children to futher their education".
What is the happiest part of your day?
" For many years my little brother has had mental problem and we have spent a lot of money trying to get him treated. Few weeks ago I was called and informed that my brother is well and has regain his memory. This in the past six month brought happiness to my family".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
One of the major challenges im facing right now is the means to get money to enable my children get futher education.
The mini business I do right now is not enough to keep my family here going and at the same time pay my children in monrovia school fees".
