What does receiving this money mean to you?
" I build a two bedrooms house since 2003, it is very old and the reefs over the house is rotten and water can enter our house whenever the rain falls. When I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use portion of it to build a new house, and portion of it will also be used to send my children to school. I will invest in a small business with the remaining one to use it as a source of income to cater to my household needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last 6 months, my household always had food to eat, even though it was not always enough and no one from my household ever experience sickness. That makes me very happy".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The current challenge that I am facing is lack of finance. My household is involved into farming, but the proceeds from the farm is not enough to cater to my household needs".
