How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have achieved my dream of contracting permanent structure ( two bed roomed house). Before I had only grass thatched hurts in my compound. I also added household goods which have beautified my house. I could not have got all this if I never received my transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by supporting people to improve on their standards of living. I have not seen anything wrong GiveDirectly has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on purchasing building materials (bricks, sand, nails and cement) at UGX 1,000,000, paid school fees at UGX 300,000, food (beans) at ugx 150,000, household goods (bed)at UGX 150,000 and saved UGX 32,000 in my phone.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily is that, I can afford all the basic needs at home. Am also expecting to build an iron roofed that I will sleep.

The moment I received my money, I became very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing building materials( bricks and sand) at 450,000 ugx, burial arrangement my sister in-law at 400,000 ugx and food at home at 150,000 ugx. I have not yet spent 700,000 ugx but am planning to spend it for purchasing iron sheets.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am listening to music from the centre.
