How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to start a business i make iron soap and sell it and also started my coal business as well. Before GiveDirectly came tp the town it was difficult i was a daily hired cutting palm for others just to sustain my family. When i got enroll and started receiving cash transfers i knew that i could use the money to do something for myself

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have decided to start a new business in addition to my previous goal of building a new house before receiving the money. My whole desire was to have a perfect home where my family and I will life comfortably, but I also thought on doing business as a source of sustainable income for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is doing extremely well. I was seriously faced with hardship. I later decided to go on the gold mine and even cross cut sticks to burn firewood for sale. Fortunately, I got enrolled within Givedirectly program and started to received huge cash donation.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Since my desire has been to build a house, I have embarked on purchasing more building materials to start a new construction as a way of accomplishing my dream. Additionally, I used segment of the money to provide enough food for the home and also completed the payment of tuition for my children.

"I the grace of Almighty Allah, when I receive the cash transfer, I plan to do business and also pay my children school fees.

"for the fact that I'm healthy, it's something I have to be happy about, but I can't remember the time I was really happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Since the death of my wife, I have to ask people to cook for me or sometime I do it for myself. I have to burn charcoal and have it sold inorder to Carter for my children.
