How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Construction was my problem which GD brought to reality.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD has done for me is to develop my home. I think everything is fine i just want to say thank you
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought my transfer on buying construction materials like iron sheets at 190,000, 2 bags of cement at 58,000, 4 plastic chairs 80,000, transport costed me 15,000, we bought chicken at 10,000 for eating with my chicken, 3 kg of rice at 7500, bought some sugar at 4,000, paid for labour at 100,000, bought some bricks at 200,000, i also bought extra 5 sheets for building my kitchen, i sunk a pit latrine which i did not have. Am still doing other things using the money.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Building a home was something i least expected at this moment, i was sleeping in a very small house with my children but now am building a home and paying of my debts.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt a lot of happiness and i even danced because i was not expecting money at that moment, i was in the house sleeping when i had the message, i woke up sat on my bend and i checked. i was too much exited and thankful to GD.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought 4000 bricks at 400000, a trip of sand at 80,000, 4 bags of cement at 120000, paid for labor at 220,000, children's clothes at 50,000, paid my debts of 300,000, i bought half a kilo of meat at 5,000 and 3 kilos of rice at 7,200 and i will be using the remaining balance on other basic things.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means financial support which will enable my household to buy land,build a house so that people can stop laughing at us due to poverty and a bad house, In addittion this money will help me educate my children through paying school fees and buying school requirements for them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenning when my spouse comes back after a successful day at work and he buys for me the things I have yearning for such as nice food.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is povety which makes it hard for me to grow enough food for my family because I do not have land where I can grow crops,In addittion poverty has made me borrow money often in order to meet my family's needs as such am suffering with debts.
