How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
All along I wanted to build a house and also start a new business. I could not succeed due to limited finances. However, as soon as I received my recent transfer, I bought 2 bundles of zinc and few bags of cement to roof my house. Transfers received from GiveDirectly has affected my life positively. I am grateful to have benefited from this program.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I truly admire the various steps taken by GiveDirectly in selecting qualified household to benefit from this program. With these transfers, my life has improved tremendously. GiveDirectly has become a huge blessing to me and my family. I see nothing that GD is not doing quite well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My primary objectives were to build a house and to establish a new business. Hence, when I received my recent transfer, I purchased 2 bundles of zinc for $22,000LD. Portion of my transfer was also used to purchase I carton of zinc nails with few bags of cement to complete my house project. My balance transfer was saved. It will be used to set up my retail business. I am so pleased with this program.

I experienced happiness this month when my oldest son walked out of high school. My son went to Monrovia to live with his uncle at the age of 12 and in the 2nd grade and now he has graduated; I am so grateful!
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am currently facing financial problems. I have a small drug store attached to my house where I sell medicine but I don't earn much because most of the important medicine which people want to buy are not available.
