What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very excited to have received this money from GiveDirectly. I plan to build a house using this money and buy iron sheets. The house that I am staying is not safe since it is made of mud bricks and has a thatched roof that leaks. I plan to build a house so that I can live comfortably.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The only thing that has brought me some joy in the last six months is when I found a piece job that earned me some which I used to buy food. Sometimes I can make MK3000 which I can use in three days meaning I use MK1000 a day. But the money is not enough to buy food and basic needs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges that I am currently facing is lack of food and poverty. I face these challenges because I do not have a business that can earn me money for food and reduce poverty. I believe that I can start a fish selling business if I get money for capital so that I can reduce poverty.
