What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money has come at the right time for me. I have always wanted to build a house but depending on farming I get so little so this money will her me build the house of my dream. My land is 2 acres, usually I get 4 to 5 bags of maize because I do not use fertilizer because I cannot afford it so selling 2 or 3 bags cannot build a house for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months the only thing that brought joy to my life was when I made the decision to leave my husband. I was not happy because he was mistreating me so when I left I sort of felt relieved. When I was with him I had to do everything by myself, so it was as good staying alone
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently, the only challenge I am facing is that it is very hard to get piece work/casual labour (ganyu) so since I depend on to survive, of late it has become really hard at home because there is just no money since there is no casual labour.
