How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My children and I have been living in my parent's house. As a responsible woman, this has been a serious problem for me. Upon receipt of my transfer, I decided to undertake a project by building my own house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well by giving us unconditional cash transfer. This has helped to change our living conditions. The transfers brought development to our community. we can now afford to construct modern houses for ourselves to live in.

My plan is to live in my own place. Therefore, I used my recent transfer to purchase zinc for my project.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overwhelmed upon receipt of my first transfer. My source of income has always been farming. My prayer has been to build my own house. I couldn't afford due to lack of money. When I received my transfer, I purchased zinc and one cartoon on nails. I also used some of my transfer to pay my children school fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that the money has equipment me financially. I couldn't afford to send my children to school but now I am in the position to do so.I am able to build my house for my family to live in.

I spent my recent transfer on zinc, nails and school fees.

"My house is leaking and don't have cash to rennovate. I will used the cash transfer to build a new house and put my daughter in a better school."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"When ever my spouse is able to go into the woods/bushes to find foos for my child and I to get, I feel happy and joyful."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"I am faced with financial constrain. My spouse have to walk on a 3 hrs distance to cut palm, than I will process it to produce oil and sell in order to generate earn living for the family."
