How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to purchase second hand bike for comercial purpose, that will also transport me to buy my goods whenever I intend doing so. The road is challenging and transportation is high this raining season, buying a bike will enable me to maximize profit.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
By God's grace, I was enrolled on Give Directly's program and that has helped me imersely since life strike me down. I'm so much grateful to God to see myself standing independently through business. Eventhough, my transfer time have elapsed, I still got something to hold on to and sustain my family. I'm so much grateful for that. Give Directly has indeed done me well!

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to renevate my house. I intend extending my porch and plastering my entire room. The remaining portion of my transfer will be spent on my business by buying additional goods to expand it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I spent years in the sick bush feeling severe pains in my leg, and I couldn't walk. I lost everything and went down to zero, life was almost hopeless for me until Give Directly stepped in. I'm grateful to God for GD, I now own a business which is very lucrative, and I'm back on my feet. This is worth celebrating, God bless Give Directly.

My trasfer will be spent on one bundle of zinc and ten sheets, and five bags of cement. The remaining portion will be spent on additional goods for my business.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No. My dream have been doing business but couldn't do that because of financial constraints.I did farming work just to generate money to start it a little business for myself but to no avail. At the end, I got seriously sick for years and was abandoned in my own home town. I had no one to assit me but GiveDirectly came and took away my stress. However, as soon as I received my first transfer from GD,I started a new business. I am now selling. As soon as I received my second transfer,I bought a huge quantity of goods for my business. This cash transfer from GiveDirectly have brought so much happiness in my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly have done good for me. It's through their great financial assistance given me that have made people to respect me in my home today. They have done no wrong.

When I received my recent transfer from GiveDirectly, I purchase more goods for my existing business. This business will serve as an additional source of income for me to cater to myself.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am qualify to receive this grant, I will use the money to complete my house because presently my house is licking when the rain fall. I also want to buy motobike to used it as transport bike to sustain my family and I.
What is the happiest part of your day?
There is nothing that ever brought happiness to me on the last six months, due to the death of my mother and my first child father also died.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My children school fees is one major challenge I am facing, some of them are in the city going to school and there is no money to pay their fees.
