What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since I got married to my wife in 2014, it has been my dream to build my own house but my current financial status cannot allow me to achieve my dream. Right now my family and I live in my father's house and because of this we are not afforded the necessary privacy we need. If I receive this cash transfer from Givedirectly I will use greater portion of this money to build a decent house for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Since the heat of Coronavirus outbreak, live has not been easy for my family but in the midst of the hardship, my children are very healthy and going to school. This brought me joy and happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest hardship right now is, my family and I live in my father's house that is occupied by a large group of external family members, because of this we are not afforded the necessary privacy we need.
